My Last Baby Shower Before Mary Beth

I had a wonderful shower this weekend thanks to some of the most fabulous women-Aunt Lisa, Deborah, MaeMae, Margaret, Gloria & Gracie.  I felt so blessed to have such a great group of women make my baby shower so special.  There were family and friends from Alabama, Texas (my Mom), Louisiana and Tennessee that came to help celebrate the arrival of sweet Mary Beth.  It meant so much to have everyone there, and I had a great time visiting.  We got tons of gifts: diapers/wipes and other necessities, monogrammed outfits, Auburn attire, picture frame, handmade bow holder, blankets, burp cloths, stuffed animals and the sweetest tiny little rocker chair from that Patsy found that had our exact fabric we used for the crib bedding and curtains (It's perfect!).   The most meaningful gift was from Mitchell's Aunt Susan.  She framed a baby picture of his birth mom Beth for Mary Beth's nursery and gave us a sweet blue and white dress that his grandma, Gram sewed for Beth when she was about 18 months old.  It is going to be so special to have Mary Beth wear it for pictures.  It was such a thoughtful gift that meant so much to both Mitchell and I.   Mary Beth is going to be one loved and lucky girl to have such wonderful friends and family in her life.  Here is a slideshow from the shower.  Enjoy!
